I grew up in beautiful West Michigan. I obtained my bachelors degree from Aquinas College; I majored in psychology and minored in English. I earned my masters degree in educational technology from Nova Southeastern University.

Teaching, learning, and technology are my passions; I am privileged to be a part of Beacon Academy where these worlds collide. BANV provides a unique opportunity for students to succeed in the digital age.

Outside of school, I love to travel; I get out and see as much of the world as possible. I also enjoy photography, reading, and spending time outdoors.
