As the holidays come to a close, it is time for the students of Beacon Academy of Nevada to start looking ahead in their calendars. Soon enough semester one will be over and semester two will begin. Semester one ends on January 20st and semester two will begin right away on January 23rd.
Beacon Academy of Nevada is now accepting new enrollments for second semester. We are a state wide, online, virtual charter school sponsored by the State of Nevada. This means that students from all over the State of Nevada are eligible to enroll to complete the required coursework to obtain their High School Diploma. Enrollment can be accomplished by submitting an online application by clicking HERE. We also ask for a copy of the student’s birth certificate, immunizations, proof of residency (copy of utility bill) and a transcript. Upon receipt of a student’s transcript it is evaluated and students are placed into the appropriate classes based on what they need in order to graduate. Once a student is enrolled with Beacon Academy they will have the flexibility of doing their classwork on their own time 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
