Regardless of where you live in the State of Nevada, be it Nye County, Pershing County, Lyon County, Lander County or anywhere else in the Silver State, there are activities available to all of our students in this virtual online high school environment.
Beacon Academy of Nevada will host its first picture day of the year will be held on September 30th in both our Las Vegas and Reno Offices. These pictures will be used for the Student IDs and for the Yearbook. If you need a Student ID, want school pictures or would like to be in this year’s yearbook please attend. There will also be a makeup picture day on November 4th in Las Vegas and Reno for those unable to attend on the 30th.
We will be publishing our second Yearbook this year and we want to see all of you in it. Check out the yearbook tab on the Activities page for the yearbook survey and let us know what you want to see in your yearbook this year. Yearbooks will be going on sale for pre-order the first week of school and are priced at $30.
Reno Students! Saturday September 3rd from 1 to 2:30pm we will be touring the “To Live Forever: Egyptian Treasures from the Brooklyn Museum” Exhibit at the Nevada Museum of Art. Please check the announcements and calendar for more details. This is shaping up to be an exciting year so keep checking back for more information about upcoming events and clubs! Yes ladies and gentlemen, we will be having a lot of events, activities and clubs throughout the year even though Beacon Academy of Nevada is a virtual online high school. Don’t miss the fun!
